my pendulum swings soooo wide these days. if i say anything of encouragement or joy, it will be followed 6 hours later with despair and violence. 

Isaiah 26:3

i am hollow, currently.  all my attempts to fill up are thwarted. i am not allowed to be filled with the normal things that numb us and keep us blinking and shaking off reality. i am not allowed.  and so HE, God, must win.   and i will pound my chest until something of the dust there comes up and is alive again.
